The existing state of magnesium oxide
Magnesia products generally contain three states, namely, underburned products, overburned products and active magnesia. What are the differences among the three states of magnesia?
1. The so-called underburned product refers to some magnesium carbonate that has not formed magnesia. If there are more underburned products, the burning vector will be too high, and the solidification rate of processed magnesite products will be particularly fast, which will cause magnesite products to burst and deform.
2. Overburned products refer to overburnt magnesia. If there are too many overburnt products, it is not easy to solidify when forming magnesium oxychloride cement with magnesium chloride, that is, it is often said that it does not react and does not condense.
3. Active magnesium oxide, the building materials industry mainly requires the content of active magnesium oxide, if the content of active magnesium oxide is not enough, it can not fully react with the chloride ion in magnesium chloride, magnesite products will appear the phenomenon of anti-alkali and anti-halogen after forming.
The existence state of magnesium oxide determines its different applications. I hope our introduction will be helpful for you to further understand magnesium oxide.
