Magnesium Oxide(MGO)
Product Details
It has an empirical formula of MgO and consists of a lattice of Mg2+ ions and O2−ions held together by ionic bonding. Magnesium hydroxide forms in the presence of water (MgO + H2O → Mg(OH)2), but it can be reversed by heating it to separate moisture.
Light burnt powder is one of the main raw materials currently used for the manufacture of gelatin, such as cementitious materials containing magnesium cement.
It can be used in different industrial fields such as air ducts and light wall and magnesite manhole cover; light burnt powder can also be used as building materials for thermal insulation and sound insulation;
it can also be used as raw materials for ceramic products; it is also produced in modern industrial production.
