Identification of properties of powder materials-Whitness
Whitness
Principle:
The light emitted by the halogen tungsten lamp is transformed into blue violet light through the condenser and the color filter and enters the integrating sphere. The light is diffused in the inner wall of the integrating sphere and irradiates on the sample at the test port. The light reflected from the sample is received by the silicon photocell after passing through the condenser and the color filter set of the light bar and is converted into electrical signal.
Another line of silicon photocells picks up signals from the substrate inside the sphere.
The two electric signals are respectively amplified, mixed processing, digital display of determination results, built-in printer printing.
Measurement results:
The whiteness meter is mainly used for measuring the whiteness of non-color objects or powder with smooth surface, and can accurately obtain the whiteness value consistent with visual sensitivity. For the object treated with fluorescent brightening agent, the whiteness value after fluorescence brightening can be quantitatively reflected.
Application areas:
Food industry: starch, flour, salt, etc.
